About Small & Medium Enterprises
The Ministry of Industries and Commerce Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Consumer Protection Directorate has four Sub-Directorates namely, MSMEs Development, Entrepreneurship, Consumer Protection and Competition Promotion in the Tashkil.
The MSMEs and Consumer Protection Directorate has a policy making, facilitating and Regulator role in all function related to MSMEs development and Consumers Protection. The MSMEs section mandate is the development of National MSMEs Strategic Plan, provision of technical, financial and consulting facilities and solutions, work closely with the Chambers of Commerce, survey of the local markets challenges and recommend solutions, convene capacity building programs and coordinate with donors.
